The Institution of Construction Project Managers of Kenya was founded in 2004 and registered on the 26th of October, 2006. Since its launch on the 2nd of December, 2009, the Institution has played a leading role in promoting the general advancement of the practice of construction project management and its application in Kenya and East Africa at large.
To promote the general advancement of the practice of construction project management and its application in Kenya and East Africa at large
· The promotion of the general advancement of the practice of Construction Project Management and its application in Kenya including facilitating the exchange of information of the Institution and otherwise;
· The development and advancement of a standardized body of knowledge for construction project management;
· Setting and developing qualification and registration criteria for Construction Project Management;
· Setting regulation and control standards of Construction Project Management Practice all culminating in the pursuit of the incorporation of practice objectives into legal framework through an Act of Parliament.
